Anyone having throttle issues?
I bought a 2011 f250 Lariat, 4 door, fx4, everything but king ranch. The truck now has 5000 miles on it, but I have had problems the whole time. It seems like if I start from a red light, with very light acceleration, around 30-40mph the truck starts sputtering. It almost feels like it doesnt know which gear to go into, or not getting fuel or something. It jerks the truck a little bit. The first time I brought the truck back to the dealership, they said some trucks didnt have the computer update, so they reprogrammed it. Well it has done it numerous times since, with 4 different witnesses in the truck that have said something before I pointed it out. I brought it back a second time, and of course, they can't duplicate the problem. Also, when switching from 5th to 6th gear, sometimes it jerks so hard, you think the rear end is falling out from under the truck. Ford told me that sometimes when you let off the pedal in 5th gear and it switches to 6th, it causes and undesireable jerk, but nothing is wrong with it. They actually printed this on my receipt. Its like they are telling me to live with it and they all do it. A window sticker of $59,990 and I get these problems. Anyone know about these problems that I can maybe point out to this dealership?

When you have 6000 miles on it take it in and get the performance reprogram put on it. It does wonders on how it runs and shifts

The factory derates engine horsepower and torque for initial break in period my dealer told me when I got it to bring it back in at 6k for a update and the update was turning truck up to rated horsepower and torque. I dont remember actual numbers but it improved mine power wise a lot and helped a little bit with fuel mileage. Maybe it'll solve your problem their other updates a long with it but can't remember what they all are

This sounds like what I'm going through. My truck is back in the shop for the second time for this exact problem. First time they "reprogramed" the truck and said it was fixed. Within five minutes of leaving dealership the truck was sputtering. I practically kidnaped the service manager and showed him first hand what was going on. The truck has been there going on a week now and still no word. The mechanics are stumped. They keep sending downloads taken from my truck to Ford engineers. They think it's the turbo waste gate or EGR.

I am having the same issue. I have a bit over 5K on mine now and it just started, and it really acted up this weekend. I had to almost stop due to the shaking. I thought the engine was going to fall apart. I was afraid to go any faster and lose control. So I slowed down gave traffic roam to clear and spead up and headed for the back roads. I am talking to our injector guys today at work. I work for a competitor injector manufacturing company. I think it's an injector over loading and the fuel not getting burned or something like that. None the less for 50K plus I don't expect this. It's going to cause someone to get hurt if not killed. They will have 3 chances to fix the issue. Calling the dealer now. Thanks for the first post it shed light on my issue.

ok, it's not injector related, it is however shift related. If I block out 6 gear around town I have no issue. However, if I allow the truck to shift into 6 gear while going slow (45 and under) the vibration starts, like trying to start off in a higher gear. You know taking off in 2 or 3.

throttle issues
im having the same exact.....isuues as the first post. mine has done it from brand new to now which is 8k miles. the local dealership cannot figure it out.

ok heres more. 2011 raptor same issue solution was speed sensor and reprogram.
