Broke it good

I knew i should have went with my gut feeling and not purchased another ford diesel after the huge problems i had with my 04 6.0L POS. I gave Ford another chance and got this new 6.7L motor. Was pretty happy for the first 2000 miles even though the MPG was nowhere near 20 mpg average ( more like 14 mpg average), then KABANG went something under the hood and engine died. Tried to start it again but no luck. Got out phoned tow truck and noticed lots of oil under truck. When tow truck driver was loading it on the deck he looked under and told me something came thru the bottom of the oil pan. I said to the wife, here we go again. I will find out Monday what happened. I will be telling them to keep the truck, i can't stand all this stress. I will get a gas truck now, NOT a ford, probably Toyota.

Wow you'll let that get under your skin to the point of spending your money on a Japanese gasser?

2000 miles? Correct?.........Warranty comes to mind..............I could be wrong though.

To me it sounds like you just aren't cut out to handle the responsibility of owning a diesel.
