Tranny problem

Ok, it's the 4th time my trucks done it I'm taking it to the dealer tomorrow. You never know when it's going to happen, but when i start to accelerate up to speed my truck drops to first gear. Last night me and my fiancee were leaving the movies, and i got up to about 40 mph and it tries to down shift and completely pegged my tach. The last few times it has done it i blamed it on trying to down shift for power, but not this time i hardly had my foot in the peddle. It runs on the governor for about 5 seconds and the it madly shift back up to the correct gear.

Im sure the VB is fully electronic. Makes me wonder if it's a speed or tps input of some sort.

Pull out in the street, put it in neutral, rev the heck out of it, pull it down into gear.

Something will break, hopefully the tranny, haha.

Seriously though, I hope they get your issue resolved.

If not, take it to another dealer man.
