I have the same issue. About 700 km it started. Put a complaint into the dealer. They have looked into and said Ford is looking into it. They called back a week later and still had no updates. I now have 7000 kms and it's still there. It's a bit annoying, hope they get it resolved soon.

Mine does the same. Generally it's noisy though.

i believe the noise is the fuel pump knocking its not a concern that will sit you on the side of the road, if our 6.0 and 6.4L werte quiet you would hear something simliar

That is true. It won't leave us stranded or likely ever affect the way the engine will ever perform. They did however manage to make the HPP quiet on the 6.7 and not every truck seems to exhibit the problem. They are apparently working on a solution and I hope they can doing something with it..Not that I mind the diesel noise, it's just nice to have a mellow diesel sound while you're idleing talking to others especially when the temps start heading to -40 in the winter months.

yes, but i've heard that it will be nearly impossible to fix because your getting a natural "water" hammering noise. that you get with every pump.

There's a TSB or SSM regarding this, it states something to the effect of normal noise, every diesel has it, just this one is so quiet you can hear it. Will not effect engine durability or longevity.

It also states that it's an uncharacteristic noise on "some" as well and they are working on it. Whether they make us live with or they fix it remains.
