crank, no start
Took the truck mudding yesterday, went through a pit that was a little borderline. Anyways wheeled for another hour or so and then on the freeway home about 10 minutes into the drive I notice oil temp climbing, caught my eye at 210, 2 minutes later its 230 then 240 and she dies. Almost as if you run out of fuel, just lost power then coasted to the side. Turns out air filter was f'd it was litrrally warped and wet and dirty. So we let it cool down and still mo start. Even at oil temp back to 150 stillcranking but wont fire.
Towed it home. Low voltage from cranking. Noticed oil on the bottom of the motor. Changed the MAF sensor, disconnected batteries for a bit. Now have code P2291 - injector control pressure too low - engine cranking. Checked fuses. Almost sounds as if its not getting fuel. And I wondered if the MAF could sense no air so in turn stops fuel flow. I have fuel flow to the filter under the hood. Had the charger on it, plenty fast crank. Sat all night and this morming went and tried it cranked and ran for about 15 seconds very rough then died and back to the same symptoms.
