Front Drive Axles

Do they have grease-able joints?

My maintenance guide, and the report after I run a vehicle health report, both say "Inspect and lubricate 4X4 front axle shaft u-joints (if equipped with zerk fittings)"

I am driving a 2015 F250 XLT, with all suspension and drive train upgrade options from the factory (4x4 and camper/plowing package)

The front driveshaft does not have zerk fittings. The front axle ujoints (at each knuckle) do have zerk fittings.

I'm sure Ford has a grease spec, but I keep Redline synthetic grease in my grease gun.

SO TRUE, just a shot is all that's needed and very rarely. You will blow the seal out and then you will be putting grease in it every month until it wears out.

Little goes a long way with these. If you ever change them out, go ahead and get sealed ones. they are so worth it.

Thank you, I was looking to find out if there was a specific product that most owners use.

I did look up Ford's spec and part number for their product. I will look around for anything comparable, from reputable manufactures, before I decide on what to purchase.
