Level the rear to the front

Hi there, I was wanting to level out my 14' 6.7 crew cab fx4 and i thought about just lowering the rear to match the front instead of raising the front? anyone ever do this? or is just just easier to raise the front and call it a day?

also, does anyone have the height of their truck with 35" tires and a 2.5" leveling kit? I am under some size constraints with my garage is the reason for wanting to lower the rear to match the stock front.

There's a part that you can put on your rear shackles to give it a better ride. It supposedly lowers the trucks rear a bit. I think they are called Velvet Ride Shackles. I'm considering them myself as I have a spinal cord injury and could use a better ride without having to climb as high to get in the truck.
Maybe someone that has them could comment...
