opinions please

Having trouble deciding between painting the headlights "Harley style'' or taking them a step farther and going all black and throwing some projectors in there.I think I have made up my mind on removing that giant chrome powerstroke emblem. What do yall think? Thanks, and here are some crappy photoshop pics

Just my $.02, but I would paint them red to match your body. I know you have the black accent them on your truck, but I think red would look a lot better. Then maybe throw some HID's and projectors in there for better lighting. Have you thought about color matching or painting the powerstroke badge? Love the truck btw, looks awesome!

I'd say Pic 2 as it's a nice contrast to all that Red. There's already too many Red/Black trucks out there, why be Another one when you can stand out and be a one of a kind.

Here's an idea of what red could look like.

Yeah, that's what I would do. I love the way the trucks look with the headlights color matched to the truck. That's what I'm planning to do to mine.

Thanks for the replies so far, I think it just made my decision harder. lol. I just took the door badges off to either paint or leave off.... but when I did I found out that there was water trapped behind the driver side door badge. Hopefully this isnt a common occurrence, because I dont think that would be good for the guys up north

Paint them red! Look at some of the ones Plain N Simple does. Amazing!

The only downside on the red is that the clear lens on the light actually has a purple tint to it in certain lights. So, if you get it in the wrong light it looks like the lights don't match. I talked to the guy at RetroShop about doing a new set of lights for me with the projectors and all, and he even said it was just something that happens with certain colors.

I would either do the red like the others have said, or be different and go with a med silver and install projectors, painting the reflector buckets black, leaving the chrome "ring" around each of them.
