Doing away with chrome

What are some of you guys using to black out the grill, mirror caps, badges etc. I think I would need the bumpers powder coated but not sure about the rest. Thanks in advance.

I Plasitdip'ed my chrome Moto-metal rims and they came out great and I am up to a year with out any blemished which need retouching.

Search Plasit-dip on youtube and you will find out how easy and cost effective it is.

I was going to vinyl wrap my grill but Im not having much luck finding a distributor that knows what color will match my truck and I dont want to do the trial by error like they are suggesting. I think Im going to just use a sander to take the chrome off the grill this week and then take it to a body shop, Ill have to check out this plastidip stuff..

Plasti dip

Count me in for Another plastidip vote. I did my chrome door emblems on my first 6.7 and it held up great. Still on there when I traded it in. I had a body shop paint to match everything else. They sanded down the chrome grille and painted it. Wish I knew how to post pics from my iphone!

Plastidip all the way…I did my front bumper. Very surprised at how durable and nice it looks.

Prep work is the key to the plasti dip. Ive seen so many peeling off after a short time. Make sure you clean and prep good and do several coats

I wish you could figure the pics out 2. I've seen the plasti dip on a few things just don't know about the texture. I'm going to go by my body shop tomorrow and see what they would charge to match te paint.

I've seen some people talking about black chrome paint but I'm unsure of that stuff also
