SmittyBilt "Bull Bar" Skid Plate

I have a SmittyBilt "Bull Bar" Grille Saver (Stainless Steel Finish) and I want to switch out the stainless steel skid plate, located at the bottom, with a black powder coated finish skid plate. I called SmittyBilt and they do not sell the skid plates individually.

Is there a way for me to alter the stainless steel skid plate to a black finish? Does anyone have a black finish SmittyBilt skid plate that they would like to sell or trade?

To bring up a dead thread, did you go with the Smittybilt, and if so, how is it?
I was doing some searching because I want to get the M1 grille and wanted to see if anyone could vouch for their general quality. I refuse to pay $1,800 for these ridiculous RBP ones, when the Smittybilt is built with just as good of quality 304ss.

I actually had the Smittybilt bull-bar in stainless steel finish, but received a dent while the skid plate was being black powder coated. So, I decided to order a Westin bull-bar in chrome plated finish because I wasn't too happy with the stainless steel. Luckily, the Smittybilt skid plate I had black powder coated fit on the Westin bull-bar. I don't think Smittybilt is a bad company, they just didn't make a bull-bar with a chrome finish.

Any chance I can get a photo of the mounting bracket? I would like to install one but need to modify the mount to adapt to my plow mount in the non-plowing season.
