Blacked out my chrome

Thought i would see how it would look to black out some of the chrome on my truck.

Looks good. Did you just use a black chrome spray paint? What prep did you do if any? Are you going to have to put new adhesive on the 6.7 badges? Can't wait to see the badges back on the truck.

Yea i used duplicolor black out. Not a lot of prep required. I will have to use new adhesive for the badges. I can't wait to put it back together. I'll post pictures.

How did you get badges off? You didn't have to sand the chrome or anything? Do you think it would work on the chrome Lariat bumpers from your experience?

How well does the Dupli-color hold up through washing, waxing, etc.?

I painted the chrome mirror caps on mine. Jury is still out on whether i like it or not. Now the power stroke badges turned out awesome in my opinion.
