Recon Projector Lamps

I was just wondering how many have the Recon projectors, and how many of those have the ones with the CCFL?

Rep at Recon said they are selling out of them, because they are brighter than the regular projectors, and to place an order, because they won't have anymore after SEMA. So I'm just curious if they are worth the extra $$$.

Thanks.

CHEAP CHINESE JUNK. they use low quality halogen projectors which are not as good as HID projectors nor are meant to be used with HID bulbs. For comparison, you can get a OEM setup of projector fog lights from the Lincoln mkz and ford focus and they are better. I've put them side by side to compare and the ford focus fog light projectors are brighter, shine further and wider than the recons. I have a set of the focus projectors in my garage that I use for comparison.
But, If your happy with that and just want the looks buy the cheaper off brand headlights . They are the same quality for half the cost.$250 vs. $650-750 for the crapcons.

I currently have the CCFL Recon headlights on my truck, and I love them. I dont think they are Chinese crap like others in this post. I like the looks of them, I put HIDs in them and they look great, and overall I am happy with them. I always buy my stuff direct from Recon with my Rep there. I have no issues at all, and I am a happy customer.

They cannot be brighter unless they use higher wattage bulbs...
X2 on they will not compare with true projection Hids..like we offer.

Wow. So many people either say they love Recon products or they hate them. Doesn't seem to be much of an in-between on them. I bought a set of their light bars to put under the doors of my truck and so far so good but all the bad negative reviews have kept me from ordering more products from them. Does anyone make HID lights or retrofits for the 03 to 07 trucks?
