DRW Valve Stem Replacement???

Have any of you folks running dually's replaced your valve stems with something more convenient?

I went out this morning to run an errand, and noticed my front tire looked a tad low. No problem, I fire up the air compressor, and bring the tire back up to spec. While I'm at it, I figure I may as well check the other tires too.

Then I get to the rear duallys... and notice that the valve stems are just short stubbys... AND... they oppose each other??

The interior wheel stem faces me... but they've got the exterior wheel's stem facing inward, directly towards the interior wheel's stem.

Ok, I mean... I guess it works... and yes, I was able to check the pressures. But it just isn't very convenient.

So I was just curious if any of you have changed out your stems... and if so, what did you go with? I've seen the longer 3" stems for the inside wheels.... but it appears I'm going to need a "U-turn" stem for the exterior wheel... and I"m not sure I've ever seen one like that.

I've got a gauge like that... but as I said, it just isn't convenient.

I'm looking for something like 18-wheelers have: 2 stems with both ends facing outboard, with the heads pretty much sitting side-by-side for easy access.

Guess I haven't seen that setup. My dump truck has the same setup as your describing on your truck except the stems are longer and metal.
