Adding FX4 after the fact

I'd like to put the FX4 skid plates on my 2012 F350 SRW lariat which did not come with the FX4 package.
Does anyone have a source for cheaper ford parts or are aftermarket skid plates available?

The ford part in question is the fuel tank plate BC3Z9K036E this darn thing is like 300+ dollars without the brackets and bolts.

if your contemplating a midship replacement fuel tank don't do the skid plate for the OEM it won't fit but they have titan has their own option

I know you can find a used skid plate one from someone who added a bigger tank

Thanks for your reply ZMANN.

At this point I have no plans of adding a larger fuel tank. It would be nice, however I don't do that much long range heavy towing to warrant it.

BTW a used skid plate would be perfect.

What are you planning on grinding over. the factory skidders or like 1/8 in stamped metal. I guess thats more protection then not having though. Id check into some aftermarket stuff, i doubt they have anything for that new of a truck, but i know the protecition would probably be better.

I have to get them dug out of storage before I can get pics. I am open to a fair offer, I just found this thread and don't need them anymore.
