well since you live in texas I will save you the trouble you cant run these while driving you will get a ticket. a friend of mine has them on his truck.

Amber colored ones would be fine wouldn't they? I thought amber was acceptable as side markers.

I'm pretty sure you'd be fine with the Amber or White versions, it's the red that would get you in trouble.

No red or blue visible lights on the outside of your car/truck unless you're a cop. Usually I've only seen them enforce this if you actually had some kind of red and blue led's or something on a strobe but I guess if the cop was being particularly douchey they could pop you for these...

Before you buy, search Recon lights. Their stuff doesn't have the greatest reputation.

My friend has the white ones on his white truck and they are to bright to be on while driving according to dps officers he has gotten 4 tickets for them now he has them on the up lifter switch.
