Not Chrome grill options?

I really don't like the massive amount of Chrome that Ford chose to put on the front of my 2013 F-350. This is one of the things that drew me towards the Platinum which I ended up not purchasing. So this left me wondering a couple of things regarding the Factory Ford "Black" grills. Has anyone ever put an XL model flat black grill on a Tuxedo Black Truck? I've seen a Tuxedo Black truck with the fender flares that they didn't color match and I thought it look pretty darn good. A little tougher.

If anyone has done this and has pics that would be awesome. I think these grills are fairly cheap so I'm tempted to just buy one and try it myself.

While I do not have a 2013, or a black truck, I put an XL plastic grille on my silver 05 XLT I had and it looked good the way I had the truck set up. I do not think it would have looked as good on a black truck.

My current truck had a chrome grille (I'm not a fan of chrome at all) and I liked the grille style so I just scuffed up the chrome and got some body match paint and painted it myself. Turned out pretty good, and for very little time and money, too. I would think a body match would look way better on a black truck than the XL plastic grille. On some trucks, throwing in an XL grille, just makes it look too much like a work package

I honestly haven't seen an aftermarket grill I like for these trucks. Kind of shocked at what seems like a missed market. When I had my old 2001 Super Duty there were tons of nice looking grill options available for that truck. I've only seen what seems like 2 or 3 variations of the same grill on this truck hence just giving up and trying to find a nice factory option. I would personally prefer to put the Platinum grill on my truck but apparently they want your first born child to order one of those...

I have a black XL grille lined up to swap out for the Chrome XLT grille I have, my question is, it appears they have different mounting hardware? Has anyone done the swap, what do I need that i don't know i need yet?
