Diamond Back truck covers

New to the forum, been looking around and reading a lot of good info.... Just picked up my 2013 F350 couple of weeks ago and started tweaking to my liking. Been looking @ the diamond back truck covers, the 270 model to be exact. Anyone ever used / installed this brand or have any thoughts on this brand...

No personal experience but I've seen them and have been looking for a used one for my truck but haven't found any close for sale. I like that you can stand on them and take them off in pieces so you can remove by yourself and don't need such a large area to store it.

Yep, I'm looking at the same model, but with the Line-X coating. In my research I didn't find anyone that was disappointed with its performance. They're pricey, but it sounds like you get what you pay for. The 270 arrangement is ideal for how I plan to use my truck when I'm not hauling motorcycles.

Don't bother trying to find a local dealer, though--folks report the price isn't any better that what you get from ordering directly from the factory, and the dealers don't tend to stock much inventory so you may end up having to wait for the factory to ship what you want to the dealer anyway.

Looking forward to seeing the pics. Also, please post a review about the bedrug. I'm planning to have one though I'm still hesitant about its quality.

FYI, I ordered one a few days ago and the salesman at DiamondBack said the 270's are made to order, and they'd had a bunch of orders recently (springtime?), so it won't be until the middle of June before mine shows up.

I've got the HD version on my 8' box and haul 3 dirtbikes and 1 quad with the atv extender kit. Works friggin' great!!! The dirtbikes are pushed up the supplied 12' ramps from the side and held on with "Lock n Load" brackets that hold the bikes upright by their footpegs and the quad is secured with the usual ratchet straps. The Lock n Load brackets are easily removed when not needed. I have added lengths of 1/4" x 3" aluminum flat bar to the underside of the cover to strengthen it.
The setup worked great on a 2000km trip to Oregon and Washington for Spring Break with no issues of any kind. I also did get it Linex'd because I'm up on it often.
It's expensive but nothing else on the market allows my to easily carry all my toys, have the full use of the box for tools, fuel, gear etc. and still tow my TT.

Cheers
