No trimming involved but I'd check with the lift manufacturer before to verify

Do a search in the suspension section. There's a few people on here with build threads running that setup

10" will clear 40's no problem. Depending on your wheel offset you might have to trim the lower valance a smidge.

I have around 11" but everything clears without a problem, I trimmed the lower valance before because I hated the way it looked...

Clearing 40s will not be a problem if your running the same rims you have now. I have a dual coilover setup up, sitting at nine inches, and I am changing to 40s this month. I should only have to trim the ugly valance under the bumper. I am planning on running Toyo MT 40x15.50R22, and my rims are 22x11 KMC Badlands (currently running Nittor Trail Grapplers 37x13.50R22).

2011 F-250 King Ranch with a few mods:
8" ProComp XX Kit, 37x22 Nitto Trail Grapplers, 22x11 KMC Badlands, Amp Steps, H&S Performance Tune, FloPro 5" Exhaust System, Matching LinEx. More to come soon!
