Offroad bumper

I recently started looking into some bumpers. I finally settled on a set of fusion bumpers and right before I was about to pull the trigger, a friend of mine was telling me the mounting brackets for these are flimsy and that they are more for looks than any kind of impact. Does anyone have any experience with these?

I have the Smittybilt M1's on my truck front and rear. I think they are the best looking out there and much cheaper than Road Armor and Fab Fours.

I have a Bullet Proof winch bumper which is very well made and I have personally deer tested mine, punted the doe for a good sixty feet. Washed the blood off and its good as new. Bought it unfinished and powder coated it locally.

I have the road armor front and rears. Got them second hand from a guy off here. He had them rhino lined, and I have had absolutly no problems with them. Always gets the job done. Used it to take down trees, pull trash dumpsters, and a great ledge to work on the engine. Had a truck run into it in a parking lot last week, I was giggling as I was helping put his bumper in his bed. I wouldn't buy the road armor new because of the $$$ and all the negitive reviews I read about their company.

My dad has front and rear Road Armors that he had color matched. I like them.
