Best non HID light

Looking to replace the bulbs in my truck. I want something brighter with that blue or white look to it. Just wanting a bulb only not a new wiring kit or anything. Looking to do the turn signal bulb also. Thanks for any info!

2013 f350 platinum. Carli level kit with 20" fuel mavericks.

Piaa has a decent looking white bulb. However, next to an HID headlight, it still looks yellowish but by itself, they don't look too bad.

I have tried Piaa's new bulb, sylvanias new zxe, and silver stars and they don't justify how expensive they are. Not much bang for your buck. Sadly I'm back to my HID's after trying everything short of retro fit

Ya Ive tried silverstars and a couple others, they aren't worth it in my opinion.

Definitely not Recon's bulbs either...had a pair of those and one went dead within 2 months, garbage. As far as turn signals though, I had some Sylvanias that looked blue but shone amber on some of my other trucks, just haven't gotten around to doing it on this one yet. They look pretty cool especially in a clear light, and on a black truck because they have the appearance of being blue until they light up and are actually amber. I can't remember the name of them, but most parts stores should have them.

You mean the bulb was tinted blue? Sounds like sylvania silverstars. I've used them in my clearance lights but i can't really tell a difference in output but they are kinda cool looking when you can see them.

Yeah now that you mention it I think they were part of the Silverstar lineup. The output definitely was no brighter but I figured if he's looking to change up the look that might be a good looking direction to go.

I bought piaa for $85.00

Let me rephrase that.

I wasted $85.00 on piaa's, but there are so many hid's on the roads lately, even the semis are running them now. Guess I can't delay the inevitable any longer, going to look for some 'shudder' hid's.

Those OTR rigs are running PROJECTOR hids. Please don't blind the rest of us with your ghetto hid bulbs in a halogen bucket.

'my' ghetto hid's? Lol. I want a factory set with the cut off like in my corvette.

Not all OTR rigs are running projectors, there are pinheads here that have a purple hid shining way out in the trees on one side, and a blue one right in the eyes of oncoming traffic on the other.

Drive a semi do you?
