Changed valance

So I made the change to the 2wd valance and I love the look of it but there's two brackets that now show from the bottom? There not for a plow hook up and there just bolted on and can't see what purpose they serve. Want to remove them but making sure that's not a bad idea first. Thanks

Changed valance

I think they have something to do with front end crashes and keeping you from driving over a small car.

The "L" brackets help prevent you from swallowing a car when you rear end them. I know they are just held on by two large bolts each.

Oh and when people do put on a snow plow, those brackets are removed.

I wonder if you could get in trouble for removing them and were in a bad accident?

I guess taking them off is the same thing as lifting your truck. Safety wise.
