New Tires Finally Nitto Trail Grapplers on stock 18's

Finally got the new tires installed this morning. Wow what a difference. Not too bad on the whine and definitely like the look. Hope to get 40k out of these tires if possible. 295/70/18 fits nice on the 350 even without a leveling kit.

Looks exactly like mine... I have the terra grapplers in the same size.

How do these affect your mileage? Notice any decrease?
They sure look good. I was leaning toward Dura Tracs, but I really like the looks of these.

City driving mpg drop of .5mpg. Highway driving I have gained .5 mpg.

This is with me hand calculating taking the 6% change into account.

Did you reprogram your computer for the change in tire size. Your MPH could be off as well as distance traveled making your MPG calculations inaccurate. When I had the Trail Grapplers on my last truck they made my milage drop.

I have not had a chance to really put some miles on the truck but will provide some mileage numbers at the end of the week to see how it performs compared to previous. I also will check via GPS to see how much the speedo. Truck has to go into the shop to have my Radiator checked so may get them to reprogram it if need be. So far the 3.31 gears are not complaining too much power wise.

I wouldn't think your 3.31's will have any trouble with this tire size at all, If you do I will be one surprised MoFo!

Nah seems to be perfectly fine from what I can tell. Also used my phone with GPS Speed and it seems to be right on now. Funny thing is with stock tires my speedo was off by about 3-4 mph. Always read faster than what I was actually going.
