Need help with tire wheel combination

my good friend wants to change the stock rims on her new Platinum F250...she want to install 35's with new rims. I have a few questions:

Does 35's require a lift?
what off set should be the rims to avoid rubbing and form preventing tires from stickout?
I assume a programmer is needed to correct the tire size, my guess will be H&S any other out there that should be considered?

Thanks...

35's will rub without a lift but just barely at full lock. If you're running a 34" tire still and want to stay stock, Ford can recalibrate it. Both Ford and most tuners only go to 34" max tire size at the moment but that 1" difference between a 34" and 35" will make almost no difference in mph readings. H&S included in that tire size calibration max.
