Clearing 40s?

Anyone running 40 inch tires, I was wondering what lifts y'all are running. I'm looking at running m16s on 24x12 American forces. Also did anyone change out the gears or how do the factory ones do with 40s. This is my daily driver honestly will never be offroad just ride high and look good.

I'm running 40's on a custom lift, I have custom king shocks integrated with fabtech. I'm also running the stock 3:55 gears and havent had any problems, but the rpm's can get really low. I'm just waiting to change it out.

I'm running 40's. M16 24" on a set of 24x12 rockstars with a 10" lift. Rides like dog. I would not suggest the m16. You have no tire choice when going 24's, I found that out. I've tried a lot of different things and still rides crappy. Bad bounce between 50 & 55mph. I will be buying a set of 20 or 22" wheels first of the year. I didn't change gearing and truck has plenty of power even with the big tire, that's the only good thing.
