I recently purchased a 2012 F-250 Lariat CC PSD FX4 and a pair of Rigid Industries Dually D2 driving lights and would like to install them in the lower front bumper on either side of the license plate. I've searched this site and the Internet and have not found a mounting solution that will accept these lights w/o also mounting a light bar.
I do not want to replace the factory fog lights, but rather supplement lighting when I need it by wiring to one of the upfitter switches.
Has anyone found a mounting solution for these lights that will work in this location?
I have duallys mounted next to the license plate. And all I used to mount them is a flat piece of steel about an inch wide and the length all the way across behind the plate and it works great. I have d2s at home I'm gonna swap the duallys out for
I know this thread was posted years ago, but wanted to bump to see if anyone else had done anything else similar. Definitely want to do this to my new 14, just looking for the best way to do it.
