Bought a New Grille

I bought a New all Black 2012 XL grille with Emblem
Im hoping i can have it painted Tuxedo black to match the paint.
I want it to be smoothe like the paint to match ones and i know this XL grille is textured?? what yall think?

Might just need some slight sanding so you can smooth it out perfectly to get the smooth coat you want on there. Why not paint the grille that came with it? That's already smooth

Self-etching primer and just a little light sanding will fix the texture. Primer it first, then lightly sand it. I did the same thing.

The Chrome bumper is just not a sure bet the paint will stick
So i bought the XL one.
btw anybody want to buy a Brand New Chrome grille??

I do believe thats what the sanding is for. Would be easier to sand chrome and have the paint stick and have a nice smooth surface rather than try to get an XL grille smooth in my opinion
