Body Panels

hi Everyone,
I noticed my 2011 F350 outer skin panels on the box seem to be lighter
(appear thinner sheetmetal) than my 2004 F350 .Anyone else notice this ?
Maybe just my imagination but would be interesting to know if it indeed is
thinner material.

It may be thinner in an effort to make it lighter.

Yeah. It seems as though thinner and lighter is the direction everyone is headed towards. The next thing is going to be aluminum instead of steel.

Agreed. It'll be interesting to see how the aluminum body on the F150 does.
