What color coil springs?

I picked up a used Icon kit for my truck but the springs are coated a dark silver gray color so I am going to have them re powder coated.

What color do you guys think I should go with?

Red - I like this one but it can be overdone as an accent color so quickly. I was thinking about tying it it with a nice looking 4x4 sticker or red traction bars eventually.
Tan/Gold- Same color as my KR two tone
Black - boring everyone has it

here is my truck, I will eventually have polished or chrome rims on it too.

Tan for sure. Red will look out of place. I wouldn't put an FX4 sticker on there either.

I'd do the tan, with your color scheme. I think anything else would look off.

I was just thinking the red would make it pop more, instead of blending in with everything like the gold would.

I'm all about red, last 3 trucks were red and my wife's suv is red. That being said, red does not go well with the KR colors IMO. I think the gold/tan matching the bottom accent color would be cool. Kinda one of those "dude his springs match the truck" attention to detail things. In the end, do whatever makes you happy. Don't let us knuckle heads sway your own vision for your ride.

What about White???... But then again i love WHITE.. thats why i had mine done to match my truck... justs sets it apart a little bit

Well, to see what it would look like today I pulled a tire off the truck and stuck some cardboard behind the stock springs and grabbed a can of red spray paint.

This is how it turned out. It looks like someone put a lift kit with red springs on it, nothing special


The springs are now at the powercoater getting coated in "champaign" color, it was the closest we could find to the pale adobe two tone.

Ive got my coils and 4 link arms powder coated red. And probably in the next couple months ill get my traction bars red also.
