ICON Track Bar?
Hey guys,
I have been researching the ICON Leveling Kits and noticed that there are 2 different track bars made by ICON. One of them is standard adjustable and the other is standard adjustable WITH "rod end upgrade". For the guys that have the Icon 2.5" leveling kit installed, which track bar did you go with and why? Is it worth the extra money for the upgraded track bar? Thank you in advance for the replies. |

I did it. I am just a sucker for the word upgrade.

It's a little more but will last longer in the long run. The other one has the rubber bushing that after time could lead to the front end shake. Icon told me that on the 2011+ trucks that they hear and feel no difference in feel or noise. The older truck would transfer noise to the frame with the hyme joint vs. the rubber bushing. That said I have the upgraded hyme joint and it great.

Haha I'm ready to see your next round of upgrades. I saw the post of your new wheels. They are going to look sick!

Thank you for your reply. I love your truck by the way! How many miles have you out on your hankooks? How are they wearing? I'm trying to pick a tire and drive 30 miles to work and 30 miles back everyday so trying to find a tire that will last. |

Thanks, I have about 5000 on them and they look new still. Its a great tire I run 58 psi in them and drive about the same as you each day.
