Road Armor Bumpers...YEA/NEA

Hey everyone, I was looking into the road armor bumpers for the 250's. Before I pull the trigger on them, I was wondering if anyone has any experience with them. Are they worth the money?

They look nice but I've read numerous horror stories about their customer service/shipping time/fab time. Do a quick Google search and you'll see what I mean. I guess if you can pick one up locally, it would be fine. There was also a split between owners. There's now a spin-off company, Alien Patrol, which seems just as bad if not worse than Road Armor.

I've read nothing but horror about alien patrol. Never heard or read anything bad about road armor so I guess no news is good news.

They are nice bumpers but you can get the Road Rhino bumpers for a third of the cost and all you have to do is weld them and paint them. Check out this link Road Rhino | Heavy Duty Truck Bumpers

I've heard nothing but horror stories from a few local guys that have them. I know Top Gun Customz sells them maybe you'd have better luck of you go thru them.

Powerstroke Nation and Cummins Forum is filled with horror stories. I guess if you can buy locally, it's not an issue but it seems like RA's dealers don't stock the items and they ship directly from RA to your door. Hell, Cummins Forum pulled RA's vendor website sponsorship after all the complaints in regards to poor business practices.

Well that's why. The intelligence level of CF is so low it's insulting to visit and psn people just piss me off so I don't visit there either.

I bought one from Top Gun Customz in Janurary, it took about two months to get it. The only complaints I have about the bumper is the ugly logo cut into the front, they wouldn't sell me one without it and the top is open so I had to make a plate to cover the winch access hole.

There are many complaints about RA if you search. I almost called my CC company after a few delays in shipping but held out only because Top Gun Customz has a really good reputation.

Also forgot to mention, Fedex sucks and that's what Top Gun uses.

Yeah, Road Armor customer service sucks.

We ordered, well tried to get one for a Hummer H2. Paid them in full up front and never saw the product. Waited over 2 months and they wouldn't refund the money until CC company stepped in and the owner and I got really pissy with them.
