tail lights
i am wanting to tint my tail light lens and was wondering the best way to do it or if someone sells tinted lens

Im sure someone sells them.....but if you are even remotely handy and patient, vht nightshades , a few coats of clear, and some colorsanding they look like glass.

VHT Niteshades cost about $7 a can, Krylon clear coat is about $5. I used one can of each and did my taillights and 3rd brake light. You can always sand it off if you don't like it. I did two coats of Niteshades and 3 coats of clear. Still very visible at night. I still haven't put LEDs in the taillights, which supposdely makes them way brighter.

Vht ftw I love it I use it on everything. I have never used the clear but it should make it better. Mine do fade. I did about 3 coats and they shine great at night. And you can always take it off with a little alcohol and it comes right off

Heres mine.....i left the reverse clear because i like the contrast, and they become worthless if ya tint em...3 coats vht, 4 coats of clear, then compound and polish.....
