GRILL

well i dont like the huge chrome grill on my truck. i want to either paint this one, get a king ranch shell, or buy an xlt grill and install that. what do yall think? i really would like to get the king ranch shell the color of my truck and the two bars that go across the grill black. also if anyone knows where i can trade or buy some king ranch bumpers that would be great

I don't like all the chrome either. I think im going to get a primered grille surround and colormatch it. The body shop I went to said they wouldn't paint over the chrome one I had, but the primered one is only 130 bucks so might just try to sell the chrome one. The xlt grille is the same as yours, the xl is all black but its textured so it would be harder to paint.

Tascaparts.com. It's just the outer grille shell. You would have to reuse your center bars.

That's a great idea, never thought about painting the outer area. Would probably make the front look much better in my opinion. I'll have to keep this mod in mind. Thanks for the link.

The king ranch is painted to match the truck color and it looks sweet
