Way too many choices.

Well I will be getting a new powerstroke soon and want it lifted or leveled and cant decide on what kit to get. I am stuck between these:

Icon 2.5
Icon 4.5
Readylift
BDS

I know Icon will give me the best ride but they are so expensive are their base kits worth the money and are they really that much better over the others? Im going with an AT 325/60/20 tire on either the factory rims or BMF Novakanes and the Torq 2.1 when it comes out. I will hopefully get about the same mpg as stock.

I went with the Icon 2.5 stage 2 and love it. You need to get a new track bar with any of these. The nice thing with the Icon 2.5 is that you get 50% more front wheel travel. The ride is much better than stock even my wife who rides in it only once in a while says it rides much better. And you can still fit in parking garages. Mine is 6'11". The base 2.5 is just as good as the stage 2. the new 2.0 VS shocks are great. I have the 2.5 piggy backs up front mostly for looks. You could get the Icon spring kit and some Bilstens to save a few $$. But you well still need the track bar.

Of the listed kits, the ICON 2.5 or 4.5 would be my choice. Yes, they will ride and handle better than the others, quality is not cheap. We can get you the ICON Stage I 2.5" Kit shipped to your door for under $800. If you want to go with a 4.5" kit, I also suggest looking at Carli Suspension. They are another high end suspension company offering top of the line kits. Let us know if we can help with anything.
