Bent stock step rails

Well I found out the hard way that the stock steps are made out of what appears to be a tin can. Went over a pile of hard packed snow tonight and it bent the living hell out of my passenger side step. Going to try and bend it back to stock tomorrow when it's light out. Hopefully will see good results.

Apparently Ford got cheap on the 2011 steps. My 2010 were a solid tube. I noticed on my 11 that they were open on the bottom now.
