Headlights

Has anyone found a good set of projectors for these trucks. I have been looking and there are not many out there. The only ones i can find that keep popping up are the recon ones, and im not paying 600+ for headlights

Also does anyone have any input if projectors are even worth the hassel. I know they look great, but i had a set on my 01 and could never get them to be as bright as reflector lights.

I am hoping in 11 years they may have made some improvements to the design of them. I want them to be as functional as they look.

Aftermarket headlights never are worth the hassle.
If you want projectors, pop your headlights open, and do a retrofit.

I run an custom HID conversions, HID kits, LED, CCFL specialists - retrosolutions kit on my dodge and still use the stock headlights. I don’t think they have a kit for fords but I know they customize their retrofits to whatever you are looking for.

I know somebody "on the inside". If I get a date, I'll share it. Sure would like them though. I love my new truck but these factory lights are pathetic...

You can check out The Retrofit Source online: headlight upgrades for all applications . I bought the FXR bi-xenon projector kit from them after doing a lot of research. It should be here pretty quick, I'll report on the install and impressions once I get it done, but from what I've seen, this is a great option if you want HIDs.
