painting grille and bumpers
anybody know the best way to get or proceed with painting my grille and bumpers the same color as my bumper? can it be done?

It has been done on several vehicles already. Bring your rig to any pro paint shop and they know what to do.

First off, remove the grille and bumpers, then remove all of the plastic pieces off the bumpers.
You have to scuff the chrome real good. Use lots of greese/wax remover to get them clean, make sure to wipe the cleaner off, use seperate rags. Spray on 2 thin coats of sealer/primer, then 2-3 coats of color, then clear. It's alot of work. I did mine 2 years ago, on my chevy, holds up fine other than rock chips. |

I have the Icon 2.5 lift with the front and rear Rezzie Shocks. Also got the adjustable track bar.
