6.7 OIL FILTER

I found cheap WIX oil filters at,
discountfleetsupply.com
$15.02 each, bought 10.
Better than $25 at the parts store, some want $50??????????
From what I know you shouldn't be running any other filters anyway.
Plus I am running AMSOIL.
Don't buy cheap parts, just pay cheap prices for the best parts.

FYI if you go in for warranty service with a non Motorcraft filter they may deny work. Lot of people dealt with that with the 6.4.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll get me a motorcraft filter in case I need to take it in.
But there is no way I will run anything but a Wix or Amsoil filter.
Nothing but synthetics here.

You and me both will be putting Motor craft when we take them in haha.

Does the Napa gold filter series come from Wix?

Did you switch all of your trans. cases, trans, and diff's to Amsoil in addition to the motor oil?

I am not sure about the NAPA thing.

Somewhere in the POWERSTROKE forums there is a comparison of a bunch of filters.
If I find it again I'll link it. Good stuff.
It maybe a Amsoil web site thing?

I have not switched the rest yet because what they put in at the factory is good stuff.
If I get slow and have extra money then yes, I will switch the rest sooner than later, rear end first, tranny second, then front end.
And you?

The NAPA filters are made by WIX. Hopefully Amsoil will come out with a filter soon.

I got the OEM filter from Advance Auto - they don't stock it, but could get it in the store in 1 day, was about a wash on price compared to the best price online once you factor in shipping. FoMoCo filters are good enough for me.
