Which sub/amp combo?

I'm wanting to add some bass to my truck. I'm happy enough with the mids and highs. What do you guys suggest for a sub, sub box and amp that would be a good clean sound and pretty good bass. I listen to country music only if that helps any. I had a probox 8 in my 2010 and it doused good but I really want more and there were some notes that it just didn't handle like a 12-13 would. Any suggestions?

How in the heck did I post this in exterior??? I swore I was in electronics. Lol. Mods please move if you need to. It doesn't matter to me.

Anyways, I've heard the spl2k boxes are the best for these trucks so I will probably go with that. Do you think the jl 13 will sounds better than the pioneer 12? I've never had either brand but always heard great things about jl.

It is a Stereo Integrity BM Mk III sub in a spl2k box. Sounds awesome, range is incredible and hits hard. The best on the market today in my opinion but not cheap. Lined the box with fiberglass insulation and sounds very deep for a small box. Folks that hear it can't beleive it is one 12" shallow sub. Check out the youtube vids on the BM mkIII...very impressive.

Specs on the amps...I wanted all digital, efficient, high end amps. RE Audio also known as US amps. I am a fan of Sundown amps as well. For the 6.5" comps and coax rears a 4 ch amp XT 800.4 v3 100Wx4@4ohms RMS. For the sub and this one is overkill quite honestly XT 2000DE v3 750W@2ohm RMS.

1/2" MDF which hides all the wires behind it.

As an audio amateur, I have a couple questions:

Your box looks different than the pictures I see on the spl2k website. Did you just order straight from the site for your '11, or have to special order?

My last sub/box combo for my '05 came from Supercrewsound.com. I'm guessing by what I've read that your box and sub are quite a bit better?

Lastly, I'm not necessarily looking to upgrade tweeters and speakers; do you think I'd be ok adding the sub and box that you have or would it be too much with the stock premium sound system?

Thanks for any advice any of you can offer. (This is my first post on this site, I've been a lurker for awhile)
