Pressure Washer Selection
Hi, has anyone out there bought one of the troy units from Lowes in the last year or so, and are you satisfied with it? Would you have another suggestion in this range that is reliable? I would like to limit my cost to $350.

I have a 3000# PSI Troybuilt unit I got a month or two ago...
Its ok, for light use, as everyone else said, if you need alot of pressure washing done, get a rental unit, or you will pay 1k plus. One thing about the <$500 units, the PSI is fixed, you can only change the output by switching nozzles... |

A good thing to look for when buying a light duty pressure washer is the engine. The pumps are all typically good units, you want to get a good solid made engine like a Honda. I know Craftsman and Karcher use Honda. 3000 PSI is ok but I'd look for something in the 3500 to 4500 range if you want to get anything other than mud off.
