Fender Flares or splash guards?
I'm going to order an '11 F250 Supercab 6.7 XLT. Our '10 F150 shop pickup throws mud all over itself, everywhere, front and rear. For my pickup, I'm thinking of some aftermarket molded splash guards, or fender flares to keep it cleaner. The factory splash guards appear kind of small, not much coverage, in the Ford website pctures. Tires will probably be stock 18" all terrain. I'm interested in adequate coverage, but not huge flares. Any opinions? Stock guards, aftermarket guards, flares? Thanks for your help , Pete

Here's my '11 with husky flaps and stock flares. I was concerned I wouldn't like them with the colored trim and black flaps, but they disappear into the tire and I think color matched would have stuck out... Installation was easy, but interestingly, there were a couple "optional" mounting points on the inner fender where there was no inner fender to screw into...

The stock fender flares on the '11's stick out farther than they did on my '08. My 35's no longer stick out at all.
