Looking at both for 2.5-3 inch level kits, which is better?

I've been looking at the icon 2.5 and 4.5 lifts and heard/read good things about them. Not sure how they compare to the Readylifts but the thread with trucks using them looks pretty good also and they say the ride is as good as stock. I think the icon might be more expensive, I don't know

I would get Icon over Ready Lift any day!

Icon is better overall

Icon, RCD, Bilstein level kits are all better than a ready lift kit. Pure Performance will also have 2.5" kits this spring with 4 link arms...we sell them all.

I have the 4.5" Icon lift and I love it. I've had it on for a year and the stainless shocks have no pits or rust anywhere. The Icon is the best...but its the highest price as well.

Icon shocks are very good shocks but to be clear they are not Stainless steel the body's are steel Zink plated..as are Bilsteins and some other brands.

Great information here guys, Thanks
This will be my first truck that I level or lift and also do new tires and rims, so any information I can get is a good thing. |

Why are they so much better than ready lift? Theres only so much that needs to be addressed with a 3" or smaller lift. Ready lift makes high quailty and well designed kits that are a breeze to install and uninstall if need.

Items needed:
Shocks, adjustable track bar or correctly made drop braacket and Pitman arm, castor shims, coils as spacers don't improve the ride quality, rear blocks and U bolts, carrier bearing shims.. |
