Need advice on 2-3" lift kits for the 2011
I'm starting to do my research on lift kits for the 2011 truck with intentions on picking one up soon. I would prefer to stay at about 2-2.5", but I'll look at the other options. I'm not going for a skyscraper, just a little lift to set it apart from the rest. I see a few listed on ebay for the $400 range, but I dont want to hastily pick one up.
My concerns: some kits come with coil spacers, some are new coils, some have rear add-a-leaf, some are blocks. Some come with track bar relocation kits, some do not. Hell, you can even pick up a leveling kit for $99 on ebay, but it looks like it just plain sucks. I dont want to do this the wrong way, nor do I want to spend a ridiculous amount of money for such a small lift. But, I will get what I need in order to keep a smooth ride and not have trouble down the line. I dont mind paying to do it the right way. I'm sure there are a few people with some insight, so I'd like to hear your opinions. I looked through the other lift threads, but nothing really addresses the issue. |

You cannot go wrong with readylift. I had their 2.5 on my 08 and have their 3.5 on my 2011. Great product and simple install

I just had the Readylift installed as well. I got the 2.5F/3R. My truck seems to drive just like stock. I've stewed over which lift to get and I'm very happy with what I got.

I've decided to order the readylift as well. Seems these guys have a good track record. I'm thinking of doing the 1.5" leveling kit with the 2" rear lift which should make the truck sit close to what a 350 would. My concern is the shock extension and the possibility of needing the track bar relocation.
Did you guys get the stage 3 kit with the relocation bracket? |

I got the Stage 3TP and the truck looks very level.

That's what I was originally going to do. If I dont like the set up with what I'm thinking, I can always upgrade by using the separate parts. I think I"ll start out small and work my way up. Its a disease, I know.

I put on the Readylift 2.5"/2" stage 3 and I really like it. It looks level but I wish I would have went with the stage 3TP (tow package). Any weight in the bed makes it low in the back. That's to be expected when you level a truck but that extra 1" in the back would have been nice.

That does look really good. Are those 35's that you're running on there? Any rub issues? Thanks for taking the time to post those
