I have the 4" version of this light, I put 3 of them on a custom light bar/brushguard, mainly because it was only built with three tabs and it was going on my 6.4, and the 7" lights wouldn't allow the hood to open. Now with the 6.7 its a different matter. My point is, I had them on my 09 all the way to 13 and put it on my 6.7 and one of the original 3 had its ballast fail within 3 months. But 4 yrs of service out of a light that is undere $130 a piece, its a steal. And the light output is tremendous, the spot pattern goes 900-1000ft, and the floods have a nice wide pattern, more than enough light to light up those back roads.
They are great lights, and inexpensive to replace.
Thats the one I bought (from 4wheel parts tho), put 4 Lightforce Striker 170's on it and am loving it! Use those more than my 30" rough country LED bar even
I have the KC bar on my truck. It looks to be the same design as the Randy Ellis. May even be made by the same folks.... Very sturdy bar. I have 4 KC Daylighters on mine. 2 spots 2 driving lights.
