I am looking to do the same thing as darkshadowgray08. I havent picked a specific kind yet, but any advice on helper springs would be nice. I grew up around F350's so we never needed them, but now I need something with my 250. I have a 11 250 CC/SB.
I had a 40ft gooseneck empty and it squatted a little. We used it for a parade float and once the build was complete and it was loaded with people (including the truck). It was riding pretty low (like embarrassing low). I had to use 4X4 to turn becuase it wouldnt turn otherwise. I don't intend to haul a loaded 40 ft gooseneck, but I do intend to haul a 24 ft gooseneck with a 15k backhoe and maybe a 5th wheel camper in the future.
Not trying to rob the thread from darkshadowgray08, so please answer his questions first. I just didnt want to create another thread asking the same thing.
