Navigation unable to pinpoint location

I own a 2014 f250. I picked my truck up from the shop on thursday june 19th with a new 4.5" lift and 37" tires. The shop is located about 85 miles from my house. To get home I plugged in my Address on the Nav and headed home and the nav system worked fine. 80 miles of the ride were highway miles.

Today was the first time I used the navigation since Thursday. I went to a buddies house about 25 miles away and traveled mostly on city roads. The navigation would start out accurate but with in a couple hundred feet would put my location off the road, basically in the wood line or lake paralleling the road I was on. As soon as the arrow would hit a side street it would recalculate the directions from the road it was on and send me in all different direction.

My question is, could the bigger wheels or lift throw off the accuracy of the navigation? I know the MPH is off by about 3-4mph but, i wouldn't think it would effect the nav like that. If it is, is there a way to fix this or should I take it to the dealership? Could it just be a faulty equipment issue. I just find it odd this is happening after i had the lift installed.

Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

Well your nave is tied into your Speed Sensor. So yes, that could make for some pretty inaccurate readings

Is this normal? I haven't read anything on here about this happening before. Is there a fix for this? Thanks.

Have them perform TSB #14-0037. That fixed mine.

Use the search this has been covered. Unplug both batteries for ten to fifteen minutes and then reconnect. Problem solved

The battery thing works for other years, but there is an actual TSB out on this issue for the '14 models. Here's a video from my YouTube channel describing it:

jsaund22, I appreciate your help. I literally just came in from disconnecting my battery. I'll most likely take a ride to the dealer tomorrow. Thanks

No problem. If your issue looks like mine, the TSB will most likely fix it. I've used it quite a bit since the TSB and it works just fine. It was completely useless before.

so I unplugged the battery for about 20 minutes than went for a 20 mile drive to check out if that worked for these 2014. So far so good. The NAV tracked me perfectly. I drove on highways and side roads with no issues. Lets hope it stays that way.

If it starts acting up again I'll go with what jsaund22 suggested.
