CB Radio & center console

I would rather have an XLT w/o the center console so that I could make something to mount a couple of radios on the hump in the middle. I am interested in mounting options that others have used with the console in case I can't find a truck without it. Would rather not put holes in the console if possible.

Thanks

Mike, I am interested too. I have not found many alternatives to the mount a CB. My biggest concern is not heat-soaking the radio in the console. But many a radio has dashtop existence....
No holes in the console is a huge obstacle.
If you find an XLT or a no-console truck that has a cubby hole at the bottom of the dash, I fabbed a bracket out of aluminum that mounts using the same holes as the bucket. I can take pics of the bracket but the truck is gone. It took about 2 hours to make and finesse it. The completed install was very tidy.
