CB mounting locations

Wanting to install a Galaxy 959 and linear. I am looking at modding the inside of the console or mounting to the passenger side of the console. The linear will likely go in the secret compartment if I can ventilate it sufficiently.
Anyone have pics of an install?

Same sized chassis and it fits.
Did you use an Upfitter switch? I am thinking of using one rather than string wire to the battery. Where'd you ground?

Since I had to pull the console to run cables (camera and radio), I hooked power to the 12 volt outlet in the console. It is live all the time, so have to make sure to turn the radio off when not using.

I am installing tomorrow. I am going to mount the radio inside the console and get power from upfitter switch #3 (10a). I want to run all wiring through a hidden hole out under the cubby hole or out the side by the seat belt anchor. Since the linear needs airflow, I'll likely place the linear in front of the HVAC outlet under one of the front seats, so I can also switch it on/off. Then out to the bed with a coax for the antenna.
I'll hard wire the linear to the battery (+ & -), with an inline 50a fuse at the battery.
I'll take pics.
