12 upfitter switches, can you power when truck is off?

i have strobes id like to run when the truck is off. can you power the switches to work with the truck off?

I will post while we wait to see if someone with a 13 has done it
but for discussion sake to keep you entertained in the meantime LOL

I was contemplating the same for a different reason


the previous years they were Key on activated only also and even go off when starting

however I am sure you could supply one or all switches with constant power

if the 13 has a fuse box for each switch like mine does you would pull the fuse so it does not back feed and run a fused wire to the supply side of the fuse prong that you removed

there are probably a few ways to accomplish this

using the stock up fitter setup, no. and what zmann said is true for the 11 and up trucks also
