Adding OEM Navigation

Alright so I took the OEM Navigation out of my truck for the new kenwood navigation unit. I want to put the OEM in our other F250 and was wondering the complexity. Some say you can do it and others say you can't because its VIN locked. Any insight?

2011 F250 6.7
Stock...?
