Led headlights

I had piaa replacements in my 2012 and they popped after a year. I picked up locally a set of race ready led. I have to say they are bright. Beam pattern is a bit off because of the 1 side of led. Is anyone doing this or are you using hid and if you are what's your setup

I've been researching this myself. I think manufacturers are about a year or so out of having better LED options out there. Current H13 LED bulbs are coming in at < 2000 lumens. 35W HIDs are 3,200 - 3,400 Lumens and 5,000 Lumens at 55W. Compare that to < 1000 lumens for halogen bulbs.

I will be ordering DDM H13 and H10 35W in 5000K in the next week or so. I will also install a pair of amber/white switchback front turn signal LEDs. That combo should look really sharp together.

Do you have a picture of the bulb? Led bulbs for headlights are many years away from being used in most vehicles. Most people go hid.
